The day I was brought into this world. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. My parents were the most significant people in my life at this time. In 1994, Nelson Mandela was elected President of South Africa. -
Entertainment
One of my childhood dreams was to becomde an actress. When I was in the second grade I casted my first role in the school play. At this time in my life, my second grade teacher who was also the theater teacher was an important person in my life. She expected me to put my heart into my performance. At this time in history, the U.S. won the most medals in the Summer Olympics. -
The tragedy
One of the worst experiences in my life was when I was 12 years old and my mother passed away. This changed my life forever. My entire family was significant to me at the time. This time in history was when Space Shuttle discorvery was launched. -
The move
When my mother passed away, I was living in Jamaica and my father was in Arizona. I had to move to a whole different country which was a huge adjustment. My father played a significant role in my life at this time. At this time in history Steve Jobs announces the first iPhone. -
Graduation
I graduated from Mountain Pointe High School. My family and teachers played a huge role in my life at this time. -
The College Experience
They say college is the best time of your life. I did not have a great first year of college. I struggled with choosing a major which was very stressful. I also other personal issues that I had to deal with. At this time in history, Barack Obama was re-elected as U.S. President. -
Independence!
I moved out of my parents' house and moved into my own apartment. My parents expectated me to gain my own independece and to see what the real world was like.
