As I went into Junior High, depression set in for me as I sat alone at lunch, was chubby, and was racially bullied so all those factors made my 7th grade year really bad -

This is when I first realized I was not white like my elementary classmates and neighbors, and that I was different -
Met my best friend Hannah
She helped with my Junior High experience, helped me make new friends, become popular (which was important to me in 7th grade), and made me happier -

Being bullied in junior high for being chubby, not very athletic, not popular, and racially bullied made me hate myself and made me insecure -
My favorite sibling Ben left
He moved out with no warning, caused a lot of drama between my parents and him, and stress for me. Didn't wish me a happy birthday and I felt horrible seeing him leave. -

Not letting bullies get the upperhand and starting to insult them back, developing my backbone -

I started to embrace the asian jokes and I started to tell a lot more jokes about myself, others, and everything which developed a sense of humor which is big to me now -

This was a stress reliever for me and the first "sport" that i looked forward to all year during the school year, and look forward to the weekend to wake surf during the summer. -
