I was born in Albany, Georgia to Barbara and Willie Jackson.
-
This was the day I started Pre-K. My mother was a stay at home mom so this was hard for both of us.
-
On this date my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Life as we knew it would change. They knew that she wouldn't make it. My mom started to do everything she could to prepare us for what laid ahead.
-
This was my families last visit to Jekell Island. We would go every year. This was my mom's idea so after her passing, we wouldn't go again. My mother was very sick while we were here and we knew that this would be the last chance to vaction with our mother at her favorite place. This was preparing us for what was to come later.
-
At the time, I had no idea what this meant. My mother was diagnosied with stage 4 cancer and she felt it was her job to make sure that I was baptized.
-
My life changed dramatically after my mother passed away from Colon Cancer.
-
My younger, older brother joined the military. He would soon be going to bootcamp at Paris Island.
-
I decided to take matters into my own hands and shave my legs. My dad said, "No" but I did it anyways. I began to become a preteen and step away from what dad wanted.
-
My brother was going through a hard time and needed a mother figure. This is the day that he moved out. More confusion entered my life.
-
My grandfather passed away on my fathers side and that meant my grandmother needed someone to rely on. We became those people. More of our time was dedicated to being at her house.
-
This was a weird point in my life. I entered a relationship with a guy. It was very short lived but it changed my life forever.
-
I went to a Christian camp in Panama City, Flordia. Looking back this event was small and not of much affect to my life. I can remember thinking in high school that this event changed my life.
-
My best friends and I had a falling out during this summer because of what happened on this day. The following year, I learned what it meant to survive high school with no best friends.
-
The biggest drama I knew could now be over. High School Graduation was a point where I knew it was time to grow up.
-
This was the first time I was alone- five hours away from the only thing I knew. I had no idea what the road ahead had for me. All I knew was that this was suppose to be fun.
-
I realized my need for a Savior. I was away from home and needed someone to lean on. I always knew He was there but I rebeled against Him. I got heavily invovled in Cru. I saw what real Christianity and a relationship with God looked like.
-
I went to Santa Cruz, California for a Summer Project with Campus Crusade for Christ. It was the best summer of my life. I grew to know God so much better.
-
I began my first real job working at Chick-Fil-A. I learned what it means to work for a living and how much fun it isn't at times. I also learned more about food service and began to appericate it even more.
-
I was named a tri-captain for the Columbia College Golf Team. Along with everything else on my plate, I was now leading my team in the right direction along to other wonderful atheltes.
-
I got my first boyfriend and began to learn how much a hassel boys were. We were young and thought we were in love but in reality we were just two silly third graders. Even though I can't say exactly how this changed my life, I know that it some how had affect on my life.
