Laken's Timeline

  • The day Laken Ralene Chitwood entered Earth.

I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and apparently when the doctor was holding me, I tried biting his finger!
  • My first Christmas.

It was with my grandparents, who I love very dearly.
  • Kindergarten begins.

I attended Hattie B. Stokes Elementary, where I met some of my closest friends I have today.
  • I'm a sixth grader!

I went to Lebanon Middle School and really didn't like it much, but tennis and band was awesome and my teachers were pretty cool.
  • My high school career begins.

    My high school career begins.
I joined every band activity possible and three years later, I'm still having the time of my life. Go band!
  • My 16th Birthday.

    My 16th Birthday.
My friends Elizabeth Perez, Jonny Fletcher, Kyla Donner, and Emily Fleck went to my sweet 16 party at the Armory in Lebanon! It was the best day ever. My Uncle Trent and I shared a party, he was turning 30. He bought me a tiara and I still have it! Turning 16 and feeling like a princess. #$13Dress!
  • My first boyfriend, Marston Clark Miller.

My first boyfriend, Marston Clark Miller.
So he's probably one of the most introverted people I've ever met, he doesn't like talking to strangers and he's a very intellectual thinker. However, when you get to know him, he will blow your mind away. He's so talented and thoughtful. There hasn't been that's gone by that I haven't been missing out on happiness. He's my best friend and that'll never change.
  • My first Rush concert!

    My first Rush concert!
My boyfriend and his family took me to Wisconsin to watch their favorite band, Rush, perform. It was definitely a crazy expierience, but I loved every moment of it. Near the end, Marston got a cup of beer thrown at his back (not very memorable)! And we both bought wicked-awesome concert T-shirts.
  • Band Day at State Fair, we rocked that field.

Band Day at State Fair, we rocked that field.
Lebanon High School's Marching Band competed at State Fair and first we placed 16th out of 44 bands, which put us into Finals, with 16 other bands. We performed later that night and gave it our all.. We placed 14th out of the 16 bands, which was a huge stepping stone for our band. Next year we're going to work even harder!
  • My first day of Driver's Ed.

I probably won't be able to drive with a license until early March, but I have a car waiting for me! Awesome-sauce.
