Joy's Birth
Born on a Sunday at 8:22am full term, healthy baby weighing in at 8lbs 13oz 21" long. My mother & father are 26 y/o at time of my birth. -

Infancy 0-2 years of age
-1st memory is living in an upstairs appartment in Nausha, NH rolling on a ball in the living room watching TV as my mom ironed clothes.
-Touching my father's cigarette and burning my left index finger.
-My father making lobsters, and just as he was about to put them into the boiling water he droped it, and the lobster started crawling toward me on the floor. I remember being scared and jumping onto the kitchen chair.
-Playing with the little boy downstairs outside.
-My mother leaving us. -
Period: to
Early Childhood (2-6)
-Having a favorite toy brown teddy bear.
-going to church, and having friends.
-Riding a tricycle standing up and falling, requiring stiitches to my chin.
-Father getting re-married and having 2 step-sisters!!! Good food to eat, and built in playmates!
-Starting school. The fire alarm had gone off at school and I thought it was a real fire. I ran down the hill, and the teacher chased after me. All the kids were looking and laughing at me as she brought me back to the class. -

Middle Childhood (6-11)
-My baby sister & favorite sister Sarah born 4/19/1978!!!
-Moved from NH to AZ in 1979.
-Learned to ride a bike at age 6.
-Loved music classes in elementary school. Learned to play the recorder and had a solo part in the choir concert.
-Had to take special classes for delay in my reading skills.
-Started going to spend the night with my friends from church.
-Ran 1 mile in 5th grade in PE class in 10mins.
-Made my 1st science project with my father "how electricity works."
-Got a dog! -
Period: to
Adolescence (11-18)
-At age 11 my father let me go live with my mother.
-Began menstration at age 12yrs old.
-Gained life long friends at age 12.
-Really imporved in my artistic skills, and singing.
-Met my 1st boyriend at age 15yrs. in the 10th grade.
-Had some good fist fights with my sisters.
-Involved in after school clubs; dance, spanish, & art!!!
-Knew I wanted to become a nurse since the 8th grade:)
-Got my 1st job at a CVS at age 15.
-Left home at age 16yrs old. -

Emerging Adulthood (18-25)
-Began to work full time out of high school & a 2nd job.
-Received a Nurse Assistant license 1991.
-Got my 1st car at age 18yrs.
-Lost my dear sister Carrie from suicide 2/1992.
-Bought my 1st NEW car at age 20.
-Moved to Arizona to be near my family 6/1992.
-Married 8/21/1992.
-Had 1st child Collin on 8/26/1993! Age of 21.
-Moved to Virginia for good job oppertunity for my husband.
-Seperated from husband Fall 1996. -
Graduated from High school
Naugatuck High School in CT. -
Had my 1st baby Collin
Born on Thursday at 1:42pm in the afternoon in Sierra Vista, AZ. Weight; 7lbs 5oz 20" long. Born with nucal cord and required oxygen right after birth. -
Period: to
Adulthood (25-65)
-Divorced husband #1 1996-fighting a very nasty custody battle.
-married huband #2 12/27/1997.
-Received my Certified pharmacy Tech national licensing 5/2000.
-Had my 2nd baby Allyson 7/2/2000!!!
-Granduated as an LPN 4/2003
-Moved to Richmond, VA 11/2003.
-Moved to Michigan 8/2007
-Divorced Husband #2 11/2007.
-Married spouse #3 8/8/2008!!!
-Son Graduated High school 2012!
-ADN degree 7/2011!
-work on BSN or ? NP degree and finish before age 50.
-Put both children through college.
-Continue. -
Period: to
Continuation of adulthood 25-65
-eat well & exercise to decrease illnesses.
-Transition through menopause.
-Travel with empty nest--move to a warmer climate.
-Continue to learn new things daily to stay congnitively intact.
-Most likely experince the loss of my parents during this stage.
-Continue to fund retirement.
-Work full/part time past age 65! -
Birth of 2nd Child Allyson
Born at 3:59pm on a Sunday via C-section. 9lbs 14oz 21" long. Very healthy baby. -

Late Adulthood 65+ years
-According to Death clock I am scheduled to die on 2/2/2051 at the age of 80.
-Or according to the life expectancy calculator at age 93 in 2064?
-Retire at age 70 in a warm climate.
-Deal with the loss of my spouse:(
-health issues that may arise.
-Enjoy grandchildren.
-Be socially active, paint, travel & visit family.
-Plan for long term care to not burden my children.
-Have a Will & medical proxy in place (not sure who I will assign yet).
