I was born to my birth parents in Cleveland, Ohio on June 10, 1995. I was adopted by my parents right after birth. I quickly grew attached to my parents. I had and still have a secure attachment to my parents. -

My life

illness
In 2000, I became deathly ill. I was rushed to the hospital. They found out that i had a serious allergic reaction. This was a tramatic experience for the entire family. It did help us bond more closely. -
Started kindergarden
In 2001, I started kindergarden. This is a big step for a child. I was nervous to be away from home and nervous about how the other kids would treat me. I was fine. I was experiencing identity vs inferiority. This is when the child either becomes happy with themself, or feels that they are inferior. -
Mom's car wreak
This was a major moment in my life even though I was very young. It showed me that life could be short and I need to live to the fullest. It also taught me how to care for those who are hurt -
Lost my Grandmother
My grandmother (mamaw) lived with us for 1 1/2 years. I became very attached to her. She is the reason why I love the snow and winter time. I was devastated when she passed away. -
Happy dog
I had been wanting a dog for years. I wanted a companion. After years of begging, my parents finally caved and bought me a puppy named Happy. Children need a companion to keep them company. -
World Championships
In 2005 I earned a spot to go to the U.S Karate National Championships. This gave me a great sence of pride in myself and what I accomplished. It is very good for a 10 year old to feel good about themselves. It gave me my own identity. -
last day of school party
Each year starting in 06, I had my best friends fron school over to my house for a party on the last day of school. This really strengthened the bond between us and make us lifelong friends. -
Riley
Riley was my best friend. He was involved in an 4 wheeler accident in September. It proved to be fatal. I lost my best friend at just 12 years old. This taught me about grief and emotional control. I also grew up faster because of what I learned and what happened. -
First girlfriend
When i was 16, I got me first girlfriend. This taught me about responcibility while dating and how to treat people that i am in relationships with. -
First car
For my 17th birthbay I was given my first (and current) car. The car gave me the joy of independance. For a teen, independance gives them the ability to fing themselves (identity vs.role confusion). -
Freshman orientation at Trevecca
Trevecca oreintation showed me that I can make it on my own at college. This further created my identity. I had never really been away from home for very long so I wasn't really sure how i would be away for so long. I found my identity and am not confused about my role.
