My Life

  • Date of birth

    Date of birth
I came into this on January 27, 2003, at 2:17 pm. I was born at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, NY. I was my mothers' third and final child. I weighed 8lbs and was a planned cesarean section. After the doctors did their routine check to make sure I was healthy they returned me to my mother. Although I don't remember anything from this day, I would assume it's a very important day in my life.
  • My first steps

    My first steps
11 months after I was born, I reached a huge milestone in my life and took my first steps. I was crawling on the floor when I pulled myself up on a chair in my dining room and began to walk. For most babies, walking is difficult but for me, all it took was falling on my butt a few times and I was motivated to keep walking. My parents were so proud of my great achievement but soon I was walking so much they couldn't keep me under control so they installed 2 more baby gates.

    Youth wrestling
When I was 4 years old, I brought home a paper flyer for the Brewster youth wrestling program. My mother was reluctant to sign the sheet because she was worried I would get hurt, but my dad a former wrestler himself convinced my mom to let me try it. Little did I know at the time that I would love the sport so much. After 2 years of Brewster youth, I wanted to become more competitive so I began to train at a private club called Iowa Style Wrestling.
  • My first injury

    My first injury
Growing up as a kid I was always very curious. Having 2 dogs and 2 young kids my parents put up baby gates. My mom was making dinner and had to excuse herself for a phone call but she didn't fully close the baby gate door. My dog rushed into the kitchen as fast he could to find food to eat but my mom only left an onion on the countertop. I wanted to help my mom so I grabbed a knife to try to cut the onions. I sliced my left hand on the blade and had to get 14 stitches
  • Youth States

    Youth States
After wrestling for Iowa Style Wrestling for roughly 2 years I had finally made it to the Youth States in Long Island, NY. I remember being so nervous to compete against other kids around the state especially being seeded number 5 out of 20. There was nothing to be nervous about, I blew through the competition and placed 1st. I then went on to win 2 youth national qualifiers, although I didn't place at nationals it was a great experience.

    Saying goodbye to rebel
On April 21, 2011, My family and I had to say goodbye to our purebred Weimaraner named Rebel. Rebel was a typical Weimaraner known to be intelligent, friendly, affectionate, and a dog who loved people and children. He loved to give standing hugs and typically take over the bed for sleeping.

    Getting cut from the team
In 2015 summer, I tried out for a team called Coastal Connecticut. I thought I did very well in my try out but sadly I didn't make the final roster. I knew that hanging my head wouldn't help to make the team next year so I worked hard throughout the year to make the 2016 summer baseball team. I've always been goal-driven. When I want to achieve something I put my mind to it and do my best.
  • Varsity post-season

    Varsity post-season
I finished my 7th-grade wrestling year with a record of 21-14. I didn't like my season record but I knew if I succeeded in Sectionals then my season record wouldn't have mattered. I remember trembling in fear to wrestle my first opponent. I had lost in the first round and was so disappointed in myself. I felt like I let down my parents and my coaches.
