Jack's Lifetime Moments

  • Born

    Born
August 24th, 2002. I was born today. At 8:22 p.m. in Putnam Hospital. Marc and Elizabeth, my parents, brought me into this world. I was given my life for a reason, and I don't plan on letting anyone down. I value the life I was given. I am living every day like it is my last, and I will never slow down. From the moment of 8:22, my parents had high expectations and I won't let those expectations down. I am beyond thankful for my life, and where I am today.
  • Bleacher Tag

    Bleacher Tag
My mom and I were watching my brother's soccer game. Then, my mom had the idea of playing tag. I tagged her first and ran. The only problem with me running was that I was running around the metal bleachers. I tried cutting the corners of the bleachers short, and then WAM. My head hits the corner of the bleachers, blood starts to gush out of my eyebrow. Although it caused lots of pain, it makes my eyebrow very unique with the scar I have, living with it every day (a great conversation starter).
  • Bed Jumping

    Bed Jumping
My brother and I were home alone, and as a kid, that is a dream. We were doing whatever we can since we didn't have that much time. My brother decided to start jumping on my mom's bed. I jumped up too and grabbed a pillow. I whacked him, hard. He gets mad and whacked me back. My brother had enough. This kid threw me off the bed right onto my mom's nightstand, opening my head. Blood comes out. We called our parents and they rushed home. Now, I live with a scar in my head, noticing it every day.
  • First Home Run

    First Home Run
My first home run was full of relief. I was scared that I was never going to hit one. I always had the power but never actually have the ball get over the fence. But, I hit one. The pitch came in with perfect speed and perfect placement. I swung the bat, it made perfect contact. The ball flew right over the fence in center field. It felt amazing. I was so happy jogging around the bases. I ran home with my whole team waiting for me at home plate, and we all jump and scream in joy.
  • First Touchdown

    First Touchdown
My first touchdown gave me an awesome feeling. I was a lineman during the time, and they never get to even touch the ball, let alone get a touchdown. As the ball was snapped, my teammate tackled the quarterback, causing a fumble. I picked up the ball and ran like there was no tomorrow. I scored. My first touchdown. Honestly, it was one of the best feelings ever. This made me change my position in football, to tight end. Because of this touchdown, it led me to change my whole role on the field.
  • Cooperstown

    Cooperstown
What an experience Cooperstown was. I got to stay in a room with my whole baseball team, played baseball every day, and just overall had a great time. Although we didn't win, everyone that was on the team will always remember this and all had a great time. I even went to the baseball hall of fame. Now that was pretty cool. If you are a big fan of baseball, I would suggest visiting the hall of fame. It is very cool and shows you hidden facts about baseball that the average fan would never know.
  • First Airplane Flight

    First Airplane Flight
Although this might not seem to be a major deal in someone's life, it was to me. As a kid, I always wanted to be on a plane. It seemed so fascinating and everyone else always bragged and said that it is so cool. So when my mom told me we were going to Florida, a big smile appeared on my face with big eyes of joy. I couldn't wait to be on that plane. Ever since that flight, it made me like traveling more. It made me realize that I want to go on adventures. It found something that I truly loved.
  • Highschool

    Highschool
Although I hate school, high school has changed my life. A lot of ups and downs for me in high school. It showed me who my real and fake friends were. It showed me who I truly was. Also, showing me who I will become. A lot of memories I have are from high school, and yet I'm still in it. I still have to get through Junior year and a full year of Senior. It has also taught me a lot more about life and that I needed to take things more seriously. Without high school, I don't know where I would be.
  • Meeting My Girlfriend

    Meeting My Girlfriend
I didn't know one human could change someone's life so drastically. But, ever since I met her, that thought has changed. This girl has changed my life, in a good way. She makes me happy, helps me out when I'm sad, brings me joy, and I don't know where I would be without her. I truly love this girl and I haven't felt this way about anyone else in my life. She made me see life from a different perspective. It would be hard for me to not mention her in my timeline because she is a major part of it.
  • Varsity Football

    Varsity Football
Playing varsity football was a dream come true. As a kid, I used to watch all the high school games from the side and now that I get to play in them, all I can say is wow. When I was younger I played youth football, growing up to and getting ready to eventually play at the varsity level. Now that I am, I can say that it is absolutely amazing. I love every second of it, even the hard and tough practices. When I look back to when I was younger, I get to say that I played varsity football.
  • Playing Varsity Baseball

    Playing Varsity Baseball
Varsity baseball has been very fun, so far. As of right now, we are only a quarter way through of the season, but it is flying by. As a kid, I always played baseball every season and whenever I had the chance I would play catch with my dad in my backyard. Baseball has a major impact on my life and now that I am playing at the varsity level I love it even more. Hopefully this season we will win sectionals, maybe even states. I already have been making memories on this team so I hope to make more.
