Finally tall enough to ride the alpaca at the petting zoo! The long awaited award made me regret what I wished for as I battled the alpaca's distinct odor. My long awaited growth spurt is a perfect example of physical development.

Me on my first vacation to Door County, Wisconsin. Here I am putting on an extra pair of sandals against my parent's will. At this age I should be in the preconventional stage of my moral development, but the risk of punishment was worth it, for I needed a pair of "sand-shoes".

It's my first year of adolescence and my moral development is at the conventional stage. We are in Santa Fe touring the famous Canyon Road art galleries. I knew not to touch anything or be disruptive because I wanted eveyone to know I was more than just a "kid".

This was the summer before eigth grade where I actually grew four inches. Here I am toward the end of the summer in Boulder Colorado standing tall at 5 foot 8. I also began growing facial hair that summer, a secondary sex characteristic.

On our vacation to Booth Bay Harbor in Maine, the resort had kyaks you could take out onto the bay. I was apprehensive at first, but I displayed that I was int he Formal-Operational stage of my cognitive development by realizing I may not get the chance to see the Harbor and it's beauty that close up again. So I did it and got soaked in the process!
