Israel enlarges its territory
In 1948 Isreal declares independence. Then six Arab States attack Israel. Isreal defeats all of the satates and gains more territory. -

Egypt removes the UN peacekeepers and prepares their army. Later on the Israelis mount a suprise attack. Syria, Jordan and Iraq form the arab forces but Isreal destroys them. Israel gains even more land after that -

Yom Kippur war
During the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, Egypt and Syria moungt a suprise attack on Isreal people on Sinai an dGolan heights. Eventually the Isreal forces were able to repel the enemy and a cease fire was called. Israel forces leave the are. -
Signs of Peace
The Egyptian President Anwar Sadat visited Jerusalem and becomes the first Arab nation to reconize Israel. Israel continues to withdraw form Sinai. -

Palestinians were mad about Israel occupation in the west bank and the gaza strip. it started with stone throwing but the first civilian suicide attack was in 1989.
