    UN plan to partition Palestine
    The United Nations formed a plan to form a compromise between Israel and Palestine. After the partition formed Ralph Bunche was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts as a mediator between foes Arabs and Jews.
  • Israel Declares Independence

    Israel Declares Independence
    Israel was striving to regain independence from Palestine and after its success in battle they were shunned upon and became unnoticed by its peers.
  • Arab/Israeli War

    Arab/Israeli War
    The war struck after Foreign Powers such as the British interfered with the Middle East. Tensions arose further and further as Israel would soon gain more and more land.

    The second Arab/Israeli war or also know as the Tripartite Aggression and Operation Kadesh or Sinai War occurred as an invasion of Egypt. As the canal came to a close new feuds opened up between Israel, Egypt, Britain, France, and the U.S.

    The goal of PLO was to give Palestine back its power with Jerusalem as its capital. It is one of the most infamous terrorist organizations around the world in Israel.

    The battle against Israel and Egypt can to an outbreak leading to the demise of the Egyptians. Israel gained the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
  • Yom Kippur War

    Although the Arabs were better prepared thanks to the help of their allies the Soviet Union. It was not enough with the weapons supplied to them for Israel still walked out Victorious.
  • Lebanon War

    With a powerful army at hand they were able to conquer much of Mount Lebanon and the Chouf District. One fourth of the population was killed that day, an estimated 150,000 men, women, and children died that battle.

    The Oslo Accords was a Peace Process that led to the union of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and PLO Negotiator Mahmoud Abbas signed a Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements.
