Masada
Herod the Great built two palaces for himself on the mountain and fortified Masada between 37 and 31 BCE. According to Josephus, the siege of Masada by Roman troops from 73 to 74 CE, at the end of the First Jewish–Roman War, ended in the mass suicide of the 960 Sicarii rebels who were hiding there. However, the archaeological evidence relevant to this event is ambiguous at bestand rejected entirely by some scholars. -

The start of Islam is marked in the year 610, following the first revelation to the prophet Muhammad at the age of 40. Independence
The Israeli Declaration of Independence was proclaimed on 14 May 1948 by David Ben-Gurion. It declared the establishment of a Jewish state in Eretz-Israel, to be known as the State of Israel, which would come into effect on termination of the British Mandate at midnight that day. The event is celebrated annually in Israel with a national holiday Independence Day on 5 Iyar of every year according to the Hebrew calendar. -

Jerusalem Jerusalem was reunified under Israeli rule as a result of the 1967 Six-Day War launched against Israel by the Arab world Haifa, with a population of 272.180 inhabitants, is the 3rd largest city in Israel and, since the British Mandate, one of the major port, specialised also in oil refinery. In recent times it also became known as knowledge and research centre, thanks to the presence of two of Israel’s leading Universities. -
Rebuild Jrusalem
After 2,000 years in which Jews have prayed for Jerusalem to be rebuilt, one look outside reveals those prayers are being answered.
There is nary a street in the capital city that doesn’t have an urban renewal project of some sort, or a neighborhood not undergoing a major infrastructure overhaul. Instead of complaining that no progress is being made in the city, Jerusalemites now lament that there is too much construction going on at one time. The project is estimated to finish between 2030-2035 -
