    US First Cross into Canada
    General William Hull marched into Canada mainly built of militia men. The British and Tecumseh’s army drove the US forces back, and America had to surrender.
  • Second attempt to capture Canada

    General Henry Dearborn prepared for a second attack on Canada. The US killed British leader Brock at the battle. British leadership suffered after Brock’s death.
  • Third attempt to capture Canada

    American forces attacked and burned York , the capital of Upper Canada. Kingston was strategically more valuable, and vital to British supply and communications. Without control of Kingston, the US navy could not really gain control of Lake Ontario or deny the British supply line to Quebec.

    Napoleon went to defeat the Russians with an army of 600,000 men from all over the country. He did this because he was mad that Russia was trading openly with Great Britain. He sent all his men to the border and waited. Only one problem: the Russians would not attack, so the US had to move in. The US kept advancing, but Russia kept retreating. Finally, America caught up with the Russians, and defeated them. It was a short victory, for the Russian winter came in. Not having enough food and shelte

    The British came into America, they invaded Washington, the capitol, and burned it. With 4000 men, the British crushed the unprepared Americans.

    The British invaded baltimore, and drove the US back. It was a costly victory for Great Britain though, with a loss of 46 men and over 300 wounded.

    Battle of New Orleans
    The British kept advancing, taking land, when America made a stand, for a peace treaty they sent to Great Britain was not received in time for a major attack on the US. Great Britain afterwards suffered the death of their leader and 2000 more, let alone even more wounded. The US suffered only 8 deaths and 13 wounded.
