    I was born on superbowl XVI on January 24, 1982 at 8:33 AM. It was about 3 feet of snow outside!

    I learned to speak my first full sentence by a 15 months.

    After living in St. Louis, MO for only a year something very tragic happened to my brother and I.

    I met my best friend. We have been friends for over 20 years now.

    I got accepted too a prestigious High School after passing and entrance exam.

    At 18 I volunteered at Henry Ford Hospital and during that time I realized what I wanted to be when I grew up. I had always wanted to work in the medical field, but fell in loved with nusring at that time.

    I had know my husband for a while, but during this time we met up again. We started a real relationship and became very serious.

    Had my first major surgery. I had a ganglion cyst removed from my right wrist, which cause me to have to use my left hand primarily for 6-8 weeks. I am right handed, but can now do most things with my left hand too.

    Gave birth to my very first child.

    Got married at age 30!

    Went back to college after a 10 year hiatus and got accepted into nursing school.

    Retired at age 60 and begin consulting other nurses on ethics in the nursing.

    I have begin experiencing hearing loss, which is hereditary in my family.

    My husband passed away. He was 10 years my senior and died at 85

    I have officially become a centenarian and my family gave me a wonderful 100th birthday party.

    My living will helps me be assured my family will be taken care of when I die. I am now at the stage of acceptance.
