I was born on August 22nd, 1994 in new bruinswick, New Jersey. Both my parents were present, and they didnt really expect much from me considering i had just been born. This same day, DNA testing linked OJ Simpson to the murder of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. Another thing that happened on the day i was born was the formation of the Wim Cook government in Neth. -
My family moved from Somerville, New Jersey to Midland, Michigan
We moved to Michigan for my dads work. I was really little so I don't remember much but I know my family liked it there and we had alot of friends. They didn't expect much from me since i was still a baby. On this day, The U.S. space shuttle Discovery launched. -
My family moved from Midland, Michigan to Moorpark,California
We moved again for my dads work to sunny california, I don't remember much about the move because i was so little but i remember we went straight to the beach from the airport. My parents were both present, and im so glad we moved to moorpark because that is where i met all of my best friends. One thing that happened on january first of 1998, was that the US Census Bureau estimated the population at 268,921,733. -
My grandmother passed away
I had a hard time when my grandma passed away because she was the only grandparent i had ever met. My parents were both super supportive. On the 29th of april, The United States was re-elected to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, one year after losing the seat it had held for 50 years. -
They eliminated my dads department at Amgen
My dad lost his job in march this year, and it completely caught my family by surprised. My mom was a stay at home mom so both my parents did not work. My parents expected me to do well in school and stay focused. On march 22nd, Mount Redoubt, a volcano in Alaska began erupting after a prolonged period of unrest. -
My dad moved to Seattle, Washington for work
There are only a few people in the country who do what my dad does for a living, so he got many job offers, but sadly there were none in california. My parents decided that it would be easiest on me and my sister if my dad moved up there by himself so that me and my sister could finish high school in moorpark with all of our friends. My parents expected me to do good in school. There were protest in Iran following the presidential election. -

I had mono
I had a really bad case of mono and was very sick. I was in the hospital for a few days and had to end up being homeschooled for that semester. My parents just tried to help me get better and stay on track in school and not fall behind. On October 9th, President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. -
I crashed my moms car into my house
This was a pretty stupid mistake i made while i only had my permit and my mom let me drive on mothers day. Both my parents were pretty upset with me and they wanted me to try to help pay for it to be fixed. On may 14th, Nevada, Indiana, and Mississippi join the other 18 states that are suing the federal government over the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. -
I got my drivers license
I got my drivers liscense on my sixteenth birthday, both my parents were super proud i passed. On August 19th, The last U.S. combat troops leave Iraq. -
My dad had a stroke
My dad had a stroke and was in the ICU for a few days. It was really scary and hard. My parents wanted me to stay focused on school. On March 1st,The U.S. House of Representatives passed a small spending bill that funded the federal government until March 18 and cut $4 billion in spending, averting a potential government shutdown. -
I graduated from Moorpark Highschool.
Graduating high school was both a major high and low in my life. All my hard work had payed off and I was finally done with highschool. Both my parents were at my graduation and supported me 100%. It was also scary because i knew i had to go on to the real world on my own, and i didnt want to have to leave my friends. This same day,Egypt formally ended its 31 year state of emergency. -
I came to ASU
This was definitely the biggest change i had ever experienced in my life. I came to a completely new place, not knowing anyone and was forced to share a room with a stranger. It had many ups and downs, but i think it was the best decision i could have made. Both my parents and my sister moved me in, and were really proud of me. All my parents wanted from me was to do well in school. In this month, The Voyager 1 spacecraft, that was launched in 1977, entered interstellar space.
