  • The Estates

    The estates were summoed by King louis XVI. The three estates consisted of the nobles, clergy and the regular people.

  • The Fall of the Bastile

    An angry crowd tore down the bastille with there hands. They were in search of gun powder and guns because they were afraid of being unarmed for the war.

  • The Women Fight Back

    An angry crown of women stand outside of versailles and are protesting to lower the price of bread. They particularly get mad at Queen Antoinette because they knew that she was a mother and they thought that she would understand.

  • The Escape

    The king and Queen broke out from their house arrest and were headed towards Austria to escape

  • National Assembly is gone

    France was a constitutinal monarchy and therefore the National Assembly was relpaced with the Legislative Assembly.

  • Attack on the Tuileries Palace

    The king and Queen were put under house arrest at the Tuileries Palace and about 20,000 people were attacking the palace

    Louis was found guilty for treason and therefore he was beheaded on this date

    Maximillien Robespierre established himself the leader of The Reign of Terror. From 1793 to 2794 , 16000 people were guillotined,

    Marie Antoinette was also found guilty on many charges but most of them were based on rumors. She was guillotined on this date.

    The people wanted Robespierre dead because they had enough of his killings and rules,
