MOVING!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been stuck in the boring land I call home or China my entire life. With nobody or nothing fun here. However i am lying in bed next to my older brother, when he looks over at me kisses my forehead, and whispers I love you and, then climbs out the window, so i quickly follow him as we sneak off i realize we are headed to america for work, as well as to escape the hardships of china and the unfair rules from our parents. -
Moving to America
I moved to america for many reasons. However mostly becasue I was young only 11 and my brother was leaving to find work as well. Also I was looking better food, and space and a new adventure. -
detention
I have been in detention for a whole year but today is the day I escape,I am getting out today, once and for all. The best part is that I am leaving on my 12th birthday and i am going to meet my brother, my brother was not detained at all and has been working for a whole year now, exactly, while i was stuck here. I made many friends, and have watched many people come and go, while I know I am stuck here. I am finally getting out becasue my older brother is pretending to be my dad, so that i am -
dention continued
no longer a paper son. This is allowing me to get out of detention and finally get to what i want to do with my life get a job, and be treated like a grown up maybe even get some land of my own. -
Mixed emotions
I have been in America, California for 10 years, and today was a huge day for me, for two reasons first off becasue today is the day that my brother was shot he was shot in the stomach and killed. You see my brother was in some bad places to help him make more money. however he always had political bosses taking it from him and controlling him till the death. So I am devestated to learn that my brother is dead, yet i am overjoyed to finally be able to travel to Oregon with my lover Chang Howich. -
This is it here I come Oregon
I have been on the California Trail now nad i am just seeing my first sightings of oregon we are arriving today. Howeer we have our race for land tommrow and i am going for it. I have spotted the land i want and i am now just resting till its, time to go for it. -
Lumberjacking
i didn't get the land i was lokking for however i got the land right next to it. i have strted building up my farm however realized very quickly I was going to run out of money so I started a job as a lumberjack. I get paid very low but it all adds up. I am finding my way in life to, I have started a family, I have land and i am getting my whole family to amreica in a few years. -
Goodbye Family
The American government has made a new law that says chinese immagrants are no longer allowed, therefore I am done my mom, dad, aunts, uncles none of them will ever be here and yet they came so close. The new law put into effect is the chinse exclusion act and if I wasn't here yet I would be terrified, for what was to happen to me.
