I Finally after six years, have decided to move west. But I hope that I will have enough money to start my new life there. i am in a group of about 50 other wagons and horses that are all moving west too.

I have been here for less than a week and i Already have a peice of land! I ran in the race for land and got a peice of land that is very flat and has a river flowing through it. That is possibly the best peice of land i could have gotten!

I have decided that i am going to plant mostly corn on my new land for the reason that corn is fairly easy to grow. i see many people planting wheat too, so mayby that will make more people want to buy my corn.

Planting corn instead of wheat was a brilliant idea! My crops are grown and people are buying it like there is no tommorow! I will be able to afford things i would never have been able to afford in ireland!.
