  • The First Tee

    The First Tee
I started practicing golf during this summer with my older brother and it became something that I was extremely fond and proud of.
  • Mini Me

    Mini Me
My youngest sister was born. I was no longer just the little sister. I became the middle of five and although I was stuck between being not quite old enough to hang out with my older siblings yet too old (and "uncool" as he would say) to hang around my younger brother, it didn't matter because I had someone who was going to look up to me and I there was no way I was going to let her down.
  • The Attacks

    The Attacks
It was the day I realized that nothing is mine to keep. Nothing is permanent - from arbitrary youth to a the physical make up of a human being. Many people like to make sacrifices - that does not always make them good or self-less. I almost lost my dad and I no longer naively believed in a safe haven.

    Third Try's a Charm
I came in 3rd in my first junior golf tournament!
  • Boarding School

    Boarding School
I was accepted into an elite and competitive preparatory boarding school in Connecticut with a scholarship that made me and my parents proud.
  • Away From It All

    Away From It All
Orientation week of highschool. It was my first step towards independence and getting a chance to figure out who I am away from where I grew up and what I know.
  • A Little Less Niave - A Little More Me

A Little Less Niave - A Little More Me
Junior year of high school, I truly started to find and understand myself by discovering who my friends are.
  • Be Grateful

    Be Grateful
I traveled to Botswana that summer for a cultural immersion and service trip with a few friends and school mates. I can't give you a simple summary of how amazing my time was and the eye opening culture shock but I can say I learned the meaning of "Be Grateful".
  • U of R

    U of R
Move in day! My roommates and I were completely different from each other and we loved it. We were so tolerable of each other and got along perfectly. It was a great welcome into a new community.

"Love is friendship set on fire...Love is keeping the promise anyway."
We've grown tremendously together. Bottom line is he's the other half I need to stay sane even when he drives me crazy. He's the love, support, and motivation I crave and need. No matter what happens, we are going to be there for each other. As a comforting love and a best friend.
