    Beginning of Freshman year
I walked into Etowah, having imaginations of how freshmen were and were supposed to act. I believed that entering high school called for a higher amount of maturity, which I demonstrated. I was wrong. Even the seniors did not act with the maturity level that they should of had. I was devastated, and only a handful of my friends were mature enough in the way that I had imagined. I was so mature, that some of my upperclassmen friends thought that I was older than I actually was!

    Finishing Freshman Finals
Having worked hard throughout my first year of high school, I was so happy when I completed my last final. I felt accomplished and felt great being able to leave school early for the first time...in the morning no less! That was new to me, and it was a fantastic experience. I was able to then hang out with friends and enjoy my summer vacation earlier than my younger brother, who was in intermidate school.

    Starting that sophomore year
On this day, I came back to Etowah High School, an experienced student on campus, ready to smash that sophomore year. I was glad that I knew where my friends were and I was in that year where the seniors were like: "Your a sophomore? Whatever." Well, at least I wasn't a freshman.

    Homecoming 2011
This was my first dance at a school. So saying I was nervous was an understatement. I did not not know what exactly what my date was wearing, or if the dance would be enjoyable or not, or if I would see any friends to hang out with. I got to have a great experience, as the night met all of my fears and dispersed them.

    End of year/Older brother's graduation
This year was quite eventful, as my older brother was graduating and going off to college, leaving me to be the oldest child in the house. I also was going to be going into my junior year the next year. It was very daunting, but I decided that I would meet these new challenges head-on in August of 2012.

    Here we go...Junior Year
This was the year that counted. Mostly. I had my first AP classes, two of them, and I was certain that I would be hard pressed. I was ready for anything on that first day. Having locked down my friends in my classes for the year, I was ready to rock and roll.
  • Finished the toughest year of school ever

Finished the toughest year of school ever
Holy Moly... That year was tough. I did not expect the amount of work that needed to go into my classes and certainly could have done better. Not that the classes were super hard, but that I did not manage my time as well as I had wished. If I could do it over again, I would have done much to change that.
  • Senior Year!

    Senior Year!
Finally made it! A Class of 2014 candidate... Candidate. I was not finished yet. I had a whole year ahead of me still. I was ready to kill it, to do my best to be a graduate of 2014. I was determined to better with my time than my junior year, so I locked down the hatches and got ready to get this year done.

    Senior Prom 2014
This was one event that I was really looking for. The odd thing was that I was not interested in taking anyone from Etowah... I thought long and hard. The entire first semester in fact, and did not come up with a single person. So I invited my great friend from church, Cassidy Ray, instead. I had a fantastic time and I loved allowing her to have a great time and a new experience.

    Graduation
This is the day that I have dreamed for my entire schooling since first grade. I finally made it. I hope that God reveals his plan for me in my life swiftly so that I may do his work in my lifetime.
