Sometime in 2001-2002 a couple months before my 1st birthday, I took my first steps all by myself. Of course, I had my wide-eyed dad watching with his arms outstretched prepared to catch me. Looking back, that fact alone makes the moment feel less cool than I'm sure it did at the time.

2002 will always stand out as the year that Mr. Bunny, with his small body, purple fur, and stuffing filled inside was placed in my crib as a gift from my older sister.

At two years old my mom took me to go get my ears pierced for my first time. Surprisingly I didn't cry as much as my mom thought I would.

In 2003 my mom took me, little Jessica, to get my ears pierced, I'm 100% positive I cried that day even though the memory has since left.

The fall of 2004 at the age of three, I attended Countryside Elementary to start my Pre-School Education.

2004 was the start of my 18 year long education. I attended pre-school at Countryside elementary.

I was only four years old when Hurricane Katrine hit land and would leave a life-long impact on way too many Americans. It's crazy to think that something that had little impact in my own personal life, has a huge impact on so many others.

In 2005 Hurricane Katrina swept through the United States, left millions without homes and separated from their family. It's crazy to think that something I badly remember in my lifetime, has a huge impact in other lives.

On April 1st, 2006 I became an older sister to my little sister Michelle.

On April 1st 2006, my step-mom gave birth to my younger sister Michelle, making me an older sister.

At a young age, my dog Belle had her front left leg amputated after she was hit by a car. Luckily, she quickly adapted to her new life with three legs.

2007 was the year I joined my first softball team, this is also the year I would find I had a passion for softball. I spent the next six or so years addicted to the sport.

In 2008 I played on my first softball team and would then spend the next eight years playing softball.

Sadly in 2008, my four year old pug, Belle, lost her front left leg as a result of a car accident. On a more positive note, she didn't let this stop her and lived a long life.

The 2008 housing crisis was apart of an American economic recession that happened to be one of the biggest economy recessions since the Great Depression.

In 2009 the American Economy faced the worst recession since the Great Depression. I was not directly effected, but millions in America were.

This year marks my first plane trip of many to come. This year is important to me because it was my first time leaving the state by flying. It also represents an important aspect in my life Travel. In a few years down the road, flying becomes just as normal and as apart of my life as driving a car.

In 2010 I would go on my first airplane ride of many to come. As I grew up, flying became a huge part of my life as I began traveling more and more.

This year represented the end of the first decade of my life. My birthday celebration was a hotel party, with ironically, ten of my closes friends.

My tenth birthday marked the end of my first decade alive. Ironically, I invited ten of my friends to a hotel party for a night.

A reoccurring theme in my life that you will notice is the amount of dogs that enter and sadly leave my life. Peaches was our families first rescue dog, a l long-haired feisty chihuahua.

Peaches was welcomed to our family in 2012 and she was our families first rescue dog. She was four years old weighing in at four pounds.

This event is specific to my life because this is the year I realized I wanted to become a dietitian, Health, exercise, and eating habits became a big part of my life.

My family dog of twelve years died due to cancer. He was a boxer and he was a natruel family guard dog.

This is the beginning of my passion for kayaking. Since getting the kayaks my dad, sister, and I have created so many amazing memories of week long kayaking trips with family and friends.

In 2014 our family bought our own kayaks. In the years to come, we would make many memories with family and friends on week long kayaking trips.

This was the year the U.S. Supreme Court allowed same-sex marriage. This was a huge breakthrough in gay rights and represents what can happen if you keep fighting for what you believe in!

In the United States in 2015, the United States congress would allow same-sex marriage.

In 2016 my older sister Taylor would give birth to Ryder James. He is now almost four years old.

A year after our family boxer Rocky died we welcomed Charlotte, an energetic Boston terrier into our family. She quickly became a huge part of our family life and a best friend to BellaRose(family pug) who had been lonely since her best friend died last year.

I went from never having fractured, sprained, or broken a bone and never before having spent a night in the hospital to having three fractured vertebrae and a cracked sternum. This year also represents the beginning of lifelong back-pain!!

Two years ago, I took my first ATV ride ever and ended up fractoring three vertebrae and cracking my sternum. I was helicoptered to the hospital where I spent three days and left with a back brace. I haven't been on an ATV since then.

Last year at Christmas time, my dog of thirteen years died of old age.

My beautiful baby pug of thirteen years passed away from old age.

In August of 2019 I welcomed Tucker a very naughty cocker spaniel into my family. He is now around 9 months old and I am looking forward to the years to come with him!

In August of this past summer, I welcomed Tucker Stanley a cocker spaniel puppy into my home. Since then he has turned out to be a little trouble maker who nine month later...still needs to be potty trained!
