I graduated top of my class from East High School in May of 2012.

I attended Welch College in Nashville, TN for my first two years of college. I started out as a Music Education major hoping to one day teach high school music! [Link text](www.welch.edu)

At the end of my first semester of college I realized that Music Education was not what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. After taking the second semester to think about what I really wanted and felt called to do, I came to the conclusion that I was meant to be an Early Childhood educator.

Whenever I went back to Welch after Christmas break of my second year I was miserable. Within the first week of classes I called my parents and told them that I wanted to come home and go to Shawnee for school. Unfortunately, the timing was off. I wasn't able to get my down-payment back from Welch and it was too late to enroll at Shawnee for the semester, so I had to stick it out for the rest of the semester.
