The Gaza Strip started in 1948. The Gaza Strip came about becasue of the war between Arab and Israel. Egypt has control of Gaza at this point.

This is another time Israel invaded the Gaza StripIsrael invades the Gaza Strip and goes to war against France and the British. Egypt had just cut off the water ways. This made everyone angry. This is what caused the conflict.

The Hamas group was found. The Hamas group is a major Palestinain political group in Gaza. The Hamas were and are considered a terrorist group according to the U.S., Israel, and Europe. Palestine people in Gaza started uprising against Israel. The Hamas were found by the Muslim Brotherhood members.

Israel converted to the Palestinian authority for security. They also converted becasue of civilian responsibilities. For a little bit Israel thought it would be the best option.

Israel fired missels at the Gaza. This resulted in killing the Hamas spiritual leader. This was just as bad as killing Bin Laden according to Israel.

Israel removes all its settlers and soldiers. Israel also pulled its military facilites to pieces. This made the people happy.

The Hamas held governmental elections in Gaza. Israel and Egypt put together a new law that said the only basic supplies were allowed in an area of the Gaza Strip. This new law helped the economy in the Gaza Strip.

More recent conflictIsrael started a three week compaign in the Gaza Strip to cease rockets from being fired on their communites in the south. It left over 1,200 Palestinians dead. Many homes were destroyed. It ended in Janurary 2009. Only 13 Israelis were killed.

Israel was greatly relived by the blockade in 2010 after a storm of international criticism after they killed Israel by the commandos of nine activists who were trying to break the barrior. Now almost all the consumer goods are allowed in. Small amounts of exports are also allowed.

"In May 2011, the rivals signed a historic reconciliation accord in Cairo, vowing common cause against Israeli occupation." The people around th Gaza Strip wanted things to be right between everyone. They are trying for a comprimise.
