Louis XVI Calls The Estates-General
One of the events that happened during this time was the Estates Prepare Grievance Notebooks, which was when Louis had all three estates prepare cahiers, or notebooks, listing their grievances. Another event was when Delegates Take the Tennis Court Oath, made up of the third estate, meaning they swore "never to separate and to meet wherever the circumstances might require until we have established a sound and just constitution", -
Storming of the Bastille
Over 800 Parisians outside of the Bastille, the cqwd demanded weapons and gunpowder believed to be stored there. The enraged mob later broke through the defnces and killed not only the commander but also five guards, and relesed the few prisoners that were being held there. -
The Natinal Assembly Acts
During the National Assembly Acts there are many events that took place sush as the special privalage ending, when feudalism is abolished. The Decloration of the Rights of Man is made, stating that all male cititzens were equal before the law. Another special event that took place is the Women March on Versailles. -
Threats From Abroad
When Louis XVI failed to escape he brought further hostile rumblings from abroad. In August 1791, the King of Prussia and the emperor of Austria issused the Decloration of Pilnitz, this document was to protect the French monarchy.
