First Estate
the first estate did not have to pay taxes.they were called the clergy. (notes) -
second estate
the second estate was 1-2% of the population in france.the second estate did not have to pay taxes and was called the nobility. (notes) -
Third Estate
the third estate was 98% of the population. they paid all of the taxes and were called the commoners. -

the tennis court oath was signed by 576 of the 577 people in the third estate. when they got locked out of a meeting the decided to keep meeting till everything got sorted out. (got from notes) -
National Assembly
The national assembly was formed by the representives of the third estate.It lasted les than a month. -
Attack on Bastille
The kings troops surrounded paris and the citizens panicked and attakced the bastille.they attacked because they had all of the guns they just needed gunpowder and the bastille had almost all of it. -

the national assembly which was made up of the third estate created the D.R.M. the created it to make righst for the third estate and take some from the king and second/first estate. -

a large group of women marched to Versaille demanding that the king giev their families and other citizens bread. they call this act the bread march because of the different things the women demanded. -

It was the fight to varennes when the king tryed to escape but faild.this action that the king took caused the people to lose his respect. -

not to long after the royal escape king louis was killed along with his wife by the guillotine. this caused a big war between prussia great britian and austria. -

it was a time when there was alot of violents. the reign of terror started after the onset of the French revolution. -
