    King Louis XVI was the heir to the throne. After the death of his father, King Louis XV, he immediately was appointed King.

    Tensions were high with Great Britain and the colonial government. And in April 1775 the first armed conflict arose. The Rebels vs. the Government. And France assisted the government. Which gave away all of France's money.

    Louis XVI summoned the Estates-General.
    Society were put into 3 estates. Clergy being the 1st estate, Nobles in the 2nd estate, and the rest were in the 3rd Estate.

    An angry mob of nearly 7,000 women march into Versailles. Chanting, "Bread!" This mob forced Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette to leave Versailles because it was too dangerous.

    A war between France and Austria broke out, because Austria's new government is powerful and could do something to France. Which is good, because revolutionaries wanted to lose King Louis XVI.

    France was in need for a constitution for the country after the monarchy was overthrown. The Montagnards and the Girondins were dominating. Till soon the Directory was in mind to replace it.

    The convention had been against the king for some time. But they finally got him on trial for treason. And he was guilty. Then they Guillotined him for it.

    The revolution was going terribly. There were deaths left and right no escape from it. Including the execution of the King and queen. Robespierre took charge and he's the one to mainly blame for it. But a year later he had been guillotined and the end was finally occurring. He was trialed like King Louis XVI and was guilty. This was the the end of the Jacobins.
