    Social - Generals of each estate meet up to discuss the state of the government
  • Tennis court oath

    Political - Meeting with the Estates general and they were locked out of the meeting room so they found an indoor tennis court and vowed to meet each day until they wrote up a consitution
  • The Bastille is invaded

    Social - The Bastille, a royal prison was stormed by thousands of people and they took whatever weapons they could find.
  • The Great Fear

    Economical Events - A period of panic throughout the French population -- especially with peasents.

    Social events - A large number of fisher women become angry at the rise of prices and march upon Versailles and almost injure Marie Antionette.

    P - Louis XVI, Marie Antionette and their young children flee and attempt to seek shelter in Matie Antionette's homeland, Austria. But fail and are arrested.

    Diplomatic - Robspierre is executed bringing an end to the Reign of Terror

    Political - The Convention abolishes the Monarchy and begins a new constitution.
  • Decleration of the Republic

    Political - France was declared a republic.
  • Louis XVII dies

    Political - Louis XVII is executed for treason.

    Political - The Reign of Terror commenced when Robsepierre declared terror. It began two years of killings and murders.

    Political - Like Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette is executed because of her attempt of escaping the country.

    Diplomatic - After the fall of Robspierre, Napeleon found his way to power.
