    The price of bread has raised making it hard for commoners to eat. Their hunger turns into anger and they start to riot against eachother for food and out out pure anger.
  • Meeting of Estates General

    Meeting of Estates General
    After 100 years have pasted since the last meeting, The Estates General was once again held in the palace of versailles. All three Estates met together to discuss taxes towards the people. From this meeting the third estate also known as the "commoners" were upset with the end result of being taxed the most and broke away to make the National Assembaly
  • Tennis Court Oath

    Tennis Court Oath
    The third estate was angered by France and King Louis tried to keep the country under and absolute monarchy, this propmted them to all hold a meeting to discuss ideas of reform. This ideas were accepted by the people and soon started a revolution with the thrid estate and their increasing power in france.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Storming of the Bastille
    Starving French citizens stormed the Bastille after prisoners and gunpowder. French soilders were setd to the border without enough gunpowder, also citizens were without food for a long time, which has cause them to basically turn insane. This overall killed many people and turned the country of France against the King
  • Killing of the King

    Killing of the King
    After leaving his country of France in corruption, King Louis was put on trial to see if his life should be spared, or ended by the guillotine. Losing by one vote King Louis was sent to public execution. In the end this changed France forever by developinga new government that was not lead by a single leader from a long lineage. Instead a group of men were left to decide the future of France.

    Jean Paul Marat Killed
    Jean Paul Marat was a publisher of a paper that had strong words towards the monarchy being abolished Becoming on of the most influencial men in France, he was responcible for kiling people against the revolution or atleast 'thought' to be against the revolution. While sitting in a bath, writing a list of names that were thought to be counterrevolutionarries he was murdered by Charolette Carday. This did stop a majority of deaths, but Charolette was sentenced to death due to her murderous crime.

    The Great Terror
    With leaders fearing for their power to be taken, they decided to sentence any person against their thougths to death. This started to become very out of hand, and people who were even thought to maybe be opposed to ideas were sentenced to death. Overall, sending all into fear and worry for their lives, even if they were fully content with how the power was currently distributed.
  • Creation of Republican Calendar

    Creation of Republican Calendar
    The idea when creating the republican calendar was to eliminate the church from government and from the peoples lives. Months were changed to be non-religious, weeks were made ten days long and took away sunday, so people who were once dedicated to the church could no longer have a day for church.
