    Age of Enlightenment
The Age of Enlightenment had occurred in the late 1700 decade. The Age of Enlightenment had included major role models such as John Locke, Montisque and Mary Wollscottcraft. The Age of Enlightenment was one major key to the American Revolution. The American Revolution inspired the French Revolution after they aided the Americans. Therefore the Age of Enlightenment had inspired the French as well as the Americans before them. The Age of Enlightenment showed them independence.
  • The deceleration of independence

    The deceleration of independence
The deceleration of independence was a milestone and a role model that was one of the many reasons that the French Revolution occurred. The deceleration of independence was formed in 1776. It was to declare Americans rights for their own independence. This inspired the French peasants to be independent, they would not have had enough inspiration to declare their independence without it. They would never have given up their hope from being taxed unfairly.
  • The French debt

    The French debt
After aiding the Americans in the American Revolution against the British and general Cornwallis, the French were in high debt. They decided to get desperate and invade Austria. Which didn't work out for them so they retreated back to France with even less money for their debt. They decided to tax the peasants as the British did to the American colonists. They were being terrible to their own country and people. So the people decided to rebel because of the taxes.
  • Long live King Louis XVI

    Long live King Louis XVI
Before the French Revolution really started, king Louis XVI had already been unfair to the French citizens. He had been sentenced to death by a giatine during the French Revolution. He was cruel to the peasants so they had all taken a vote to execute him. He had been struck down by the giatine in 1793. It was a bloody Revolution in the Europian history. The peasants were very much against King Louis actions in his rule which as well influenced the Revolution against him and the upper class.
  • Unruliness of taxation

    Unruliness of taxation
The peasants of France were being terribly taxed unfairly. They had no choice but to pay taxes to the nobles and the kings and priests in order to pay their debt. The French Revolution had started in 1789 and ended in the very late 1799's. They were starving and dying because they hadn't money for food, water , clothes or proper housing. They had to suffer for the nobles and kings debt. They were taxed with too much because the king was impatient with paying off the their debt and drawn money.
