    Storming of The Bastille

    Reason for this event was because the rebels wanted to get ammunition and arms(weapons). They believed that the enemy having over 30,000 pounds of gunpowder was a sign of the monarchs tyranny. I think that this is important to the revolution because it shows that people were starting to take action.

    March on Versailles

    This march happened because the prices on the bread were too expensive for the woman and people to buy and so while those in higher tiers of wealth and power ate to their hearts content. I think this is important to the timeline because not only does it show people standing up for what they don't agree with, but it also shows why. It shows how the other side was in the wrong.

    This is a turning point in the revolution. The people of paris led an attack on the Tuileries, which was the official home of King Louis XVI and the Legislative Assembly. Once again this is important because it is a revolutionary turning point.

    Execution of the King

    This was the time when Marie Antoinette had to witness the horrendous sight of King Louis losing his head literally. The king was executed/beheaded on this day. This is an important part of the timeline because its the death of a huge figure/part of the revolutionary war.

    This is a time period where a lot of people were being executed. Those including high influential people in the monarchy and even royalty like the queen. This is important because its an event that lasted a long time and had major effects on the war.

Marie Antoinette was the first execution during the reign of terror(which lasted 6 months). This is important because once again, this the death of an important figure in this time period.
