Napoleon became a general during the winter months of 1793. After being in the French army for many years, Napoleon had gained the trust and respect of the people of the army in which was in his favor.

The reign of terror consisted of thousands of executions and very many imprisonments. Also included in this were slaves and people who lived on land, turning on their land owners.

Napoleon and about 600,000 men marched to Russia in an attempt to take over the land for Napoleon's empire but what they did not expect was Russia's use of "scorched Earth" which is a burning of the buildings and crops and any other supplies before the invading forces arrives.

Napoleon began to get very sick and continued to get six as his life continued. It is reported that Napoleon had coughed up blood and layed in bed for many days at a time.

Napoleon dies of what was thought to be due to a disease he contracted from a mosquito but it was showed that he actually had stomahc cancer which was unknown of at the time.
