Was an event that took place in paris when the people decided to storm a political prison to get weapons, they also released the 7 prisoners who were in there at the time too. -
Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen
Basicly the French version of the Declaration, where they put in men as equals. -
Women's March on Versailles
After hearing many rumors the the king and queen where hoarding a lot of grain all these hungry, angry, and armed woman made a move on on the house of the King. After they basicly took it over they made Louis and his wife move to Paris. -
Escape of the Royal Family
After watching many other nobles leave France Louis and his wife tried to get away too, but were caught and then put under house arrest in Paris. -
Champ de Mars
Happened in the park Champ de Mars where a lot of Jacobins were getting violent so the military was ordered to fire at them killing 50. -
Execution of Louis XVI
There was a trial held and Louis XVI was found guilty so he got his head chopped off. -
Reign of Terror
A period of time where anyone suspected to be a loyalist was executed over 16,000 of them were guillotined and another 25,000 were killed. But ended in July 28 when the head of the Committee of public safty was executed himself. -
End of Revolution and Rise of Napoleon
The Jacobins fell and Napoleon assumed power through all he was able to do.
