    The Palace of Versaille was built out of envy pretty much. King Louis XIV built it because he was jealous of finance minister having a better palace than his, which was called the Vaux-le-Vicomte, and confiscated Fouquet's estate. Was it good or bad for the French people i think it was bad becasue it got taken out of there taxes to help get that built.

    The Tennis Court Oath (French: Serment du jeu de paume) was a pivotal event during the first days of the French Revolution. The Oath was a pledge signed by 576 of the 577 members from the Third Estate who were locked out of a meeting of the Estates-General on 20 June 1789. They made a makeshift conference room inside a tennis court located in the Saint-Louis district of Versailles (commune), near the Palace of Versailles.

    The Bastille, first off, was an armory/ jailhouse in the center of Paris. It was used to store weapons and at the current time hold political figures arrested due to violation of royal law. The peasants stormed the Bastille after hearing rumors that the king was sending the army to kill pesants and burn their crops. They stromed the Bastille to arm themselves and tear it down. It was an enormous symbolic act agains the ancien regime and it inspired revolutionaries such as the Jacobins.

    Influenced by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Robespierre went from being active in the National Assembly of France to being a leader of the Jacobins during the French Revolution. Called "The Incorruptible" because of his self-described moral virtue, he was a member of the Committee of Public Safety and the de facto leader of the country between 1793 and 1794. Robespierre's extreme and violent response to opposition was dubbed The Reign of Terror, and his ruthlessness eventually led to his downfall.

    He killed everybody that thought differently than him. He was the creator of the reign of terror and was eventually sent to the guillotine himself in 1794 after the French turned against him when their eyes opened and say what he had done.He was beheaded faced upwards.
