    King Louis XVI called for a meeting of the French representatives. Every estate participated and they tried to come up with a solution for the financial problems. This also led to the French Revolution. The third estate was the largest group and they felt they didnt have to pay as much taxes.

    This was a meeting between the Third estate. The prime minister was not happy and wanted to make changes, but when they got the the meeting hall, it was locked. They believed that King Louis XVI was responsible for this. But instead of giving up, they moved the meeting to a near by Tennis Court.

    A group of craftmen and salesmen decided to invade the Bastile, a prison that symbolized the King's power. The guards guarding the prison at the time called for help. However, The rescue team decited to team with the revolutionaries bringing them victory.

    Abolished the first class and its privilages. Also abolished titles such as "prince" "duke" "count" etc...

    The society of the Friends of the Blacks was a group of French men and woman, mostly white, who were abolitionists. in February 1794, the National Assembly legislated the Universal Emancipation decree, which effectively freed all colonial slaves.

    Napoleon seized power after the French callepsed. He became a very strong ruler. France then became more of a millitary state after, and with much more order and control.
