    Meeting of the Estates General
    On May 5th 1789 the three social estates met to try and resolve Frances social inequality problems but mostly to fix taxation on the third estate. The third estate was the majority of the population and by far the poorest as well but they had the most taxes put on them. Each estate clashed due to the responsabilites that were going to be placed on them. This very well jump started the French Revolution

    Creation of the National Assembly
    Above is the national assembly in its tennis court oath. This assembly was by the people for the people. they didnt wait for the second or first estate because this was all for them.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Storming of the Bastille
    On July 14th 1789 The French Revolution had become official the first violent event at the time. Insurgents had set there eyes on the weapons and ammunation cache that was in The Bastille which was also a symbol of royal power. So the insurgents infiltrated and killed the General in charge of the bastille he was tortured and decapitated and they paraded down the streets with his head on a pole.

    This Declaration stated that every man is to be treated the same, being part of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd estate. every one is equal. Inspired by the enlightenment thinkers.

    was created by the demand of ending the monarchy in France. Wasnt very effeciant and didnt last very long but it did put a temporary govt in place.

    King Louis XVI was held in contempt for conspiring against the people of france with Frances enemies. So he was voted to execution by majority of the citizens as well as his wife and others.

    During the reign of terror anywhere from 18000 to 40000 were executed and or put on trial for acts from anywhere conspiracy to murder. Nobody was safe and these were actions of the committee of public safety which was under the control of the girondins more specifically robespierre

    meaning extra disposion of the government. France went through this state and this is when Napoleon took power. This was a new beginning for France and its people.
