French Consulate/ First French Empire
The french consulate was republican government divided into three houses, overseen by Napoleon. But then Napoleon took over and was crowned emporer and turned into a dictator, so becomes the First French Empire. Napoleon boosted the economy, fixed education systems, and separated church and state. Then Napoleon fell from power and was exiled.
