    Besides the bad things that were going on in France during this time like the bad economy, bad tax system and an unfair ruler the King still decides to help America with the war against Great Britain.

    The estates general gathered to approve a new tax rule that would be implemented to even out the tax on the nobles because they were the ones paying the least amount of money.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    Delegates that represented the third estate made an oath on an indoor tennis court where they created a new constitution for France
  • Bastille Prison

    An angry mob of hundreds of people breaks into a famous prison called the Bastille where they let all the prisoners go out which was a symbol of the abolishment of the monarchy
  • No more Debts

    The Nation Assembly takes away all the debts that any commoner or peasant owed to a noble or a lord.
  • Coward Rulers

    In June 1971 the King and Queen are caught trying to escape France because they were scared that they were going to get executed for everything they did to the country.
  • Constitutional Monarchy

    the National Assembly created a Constitutional monarchy and the king agreed and this was also when the new legislative was created

    The whole royal family is imprisoned and accused of treason

    The King and the Queen were sentenced to death because they were accused of treason and were killed by the guillotine
