    Around this time was the height of the economic crisis in France. Bread prices were extremely high. Bread was a critcial item for 97% of the population and the intense rise in prices made life increasingly harder for French citizens. Agricultural success was also at an all time low.
  • Bastille Stormed

    The Bastille in Paris is raided by revolutionaries. Many guards are murdered and paraded around. Gunpowder is stolen from the bastille and added to the amount of weaponry and ammunition the revolutionaries possess.

    The National Assembly creates and passes the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen. This document was inspired by and includes many Enlightment ideals.

    Many women, filled with anger regarding the rising prices of bread and other goods, march at Versailles to protest the Royal family. Many of these women also hate Marie Antoinette because of her extreme selfishness and self indulgence. These women run through the home of the king and queen, stabbing and destroying their property while searching for the queen,

    Robespierre the uncorruptable is beheaded after becoming corrupt. People were ready to end the Reign of Terror.
  • Napoleon Seizes Power

    Napoleon Bonaparte overthrowsthe revolutionaries in control at the time. His self coronation is soon to happen.

    Napoleon battles in Spain.
  • Napoleon in Russia
