    The Convention found Louis guily for betraying his own country and sentenced him to death, Louis was beheaded by the machine called the guillotine.

    To reinforce the army, the Convention ordered a draft of 300,000 French citizens between the ages of 18 and 40, the army grew to 800,000 people and included women.
