Graduation
I hope to graduate high school with a GPA greater than 4.0, due to AP classes. I want to be the valedictorian and the class president. I hope to be part of the National Honor Society as well. -
First Day of College
I want to attend colllege at the U.S. Air Force Academy. It costs nothing to attend the academy. You pay by serving in the Air Force for a certain amount of years after graduation, determined by your job. The Air Force Academy has an acceptance rate of 9.9% so it will be very difficult to make it in. -
College Graduation
Graduating from the Air Force Academy can prove to be just as difficult as getting in. I hope to graduate with a GPA no lower than 3.5. I hope to have played on the football team throughout college. I also want to graduate eligible for pilot training, because that is my ultimate goal. -
First Flight
Two years after graduating from college I hope to be flying a fighter jet. I would not make very much money at the time of my first flight. But with increasing service years my paycheck will increase too. -
Flying Ace
It takes at least five aerial victories to be declared an ace. Achieving this would be extremely dangerous, but what's the point of being a pilot if I don't shoot down any enemies? I want to do my part in the Air Force and help our nation win wars. I want to experience the excitement of aerial combat. -
Aerospace Engineering
I can't be a fighter pilot my whole career. When I'm about 40 I want to retire from flying, and be an aerospace engineer. I would design aircraft for the Air Force. I would still get to serve my country without risking my life. -
Promoted to Major General
When I'm 55 I would like to be promoted to Major General. It is a very high rank, but I think with hard work throughout all my service years I can achieve it. As Major General I would make $9530.70 a month, which is $114368.40 a year. I think that with that much money I could have a fairly luxurious life. -
Retirement
I hope to retire around age 65. I hope to be making around $100,000 when I retire. I would also like to be at least a brigader general before I retire.
