    My parents said they remember they were running late and the news was on. They always watch the news in the morning and they were stunned by what they saw. They said it was so creepy how there was no aircraft flying overhead for the next week.

    This made things especially hard for my family because our commute to school and work had doubled due to this road closure. We had to stay in Page at times because driving home every night was too long and too expensive.
