    I began watching tv shows and holding magazines to help me keep entertained. It also helped me get to know sounds, words, and language. Lastly, it gave me exposure to other parts of the world we live in.

    Before going to primary school, I started learning to read storybooks and textbooks. I would open different books each day and spend my time reading them. My parents guided me when reading the books as I still could not read all the words clearly. It contributed to stimulating my curiosity and sparked my imagination as a child.

    It was my first exposure to radio and cellular phones. Radio allows us to receive news information and every Sunday, we enjoy listening to music through the use of radio. In addition, cellular phones help us a lot especially when communicating with our family friends, and relatives.

    During this year, I started using tablets and flip phones. I began to discover various applications to play with my siblings and also used these media to listen to music and watch movies and cartoons.

    This is the year when I got interested in reading newspapers. What sparked my curiosity in reading it was that it is all around our house. It became my great source of knowledge and entertainment. It also provided me valuable insight into global happenings like weather conditions, natural disasters, earthquakes, social issues, etc.

    I started using the computer this year. My siblings thought me how to turn on and shut down a computer. I spent time playing games and engaged myself with other interactive educational activities.

    It was the year when I first held a smartphone. I remember being too excited to use this device because it was a touchscreen phone. Our connection with our relatives and friends was made much easier.

    I learned how to use Facebook, Google, YouTube, Instagram, and other social networking sites, I used these to keep in touch with friends and family. With the aid of these mediums, I also started to develop my interests, learn new things, and be entertained. Google and YouTube became my learning platforms as well. Furthermore, I watched my sister use laptops and later learned how to operate them on my own. Using a laptop allowed me to work on my school projects and provide convenience for me.

    I started using emails and Microsoft apps during this year. It enabled me to become more productive and organized. It also helped me create, and share information and insights easier.

    I began exploring the use of the google classroom platform during the course of this year. Google classroom made it easier for me to keep track of my assignments and progress.

    It is the year when I started exploring online shopping apps such as Shopee, Lazada, etc. It became a way for us to purchase goods and services. The convenience, price comparison, and wider selection of products made us try making purchases online.
