Ever since the day I was born, my parents ( especially my mother) always read to me.

As a child, I loved Barney and everything about the show. I was able to start following along and learning to read.

With my mom working at my school, I always got to go to the book fair and we would pick out new books to read together.

My 4th grade year I was forced into join a reading club and had to present a poem by heart. I was so mad but my librarian called me her super girl and gave me a poster saying so. She truly inspired me to really enjoy reading and show my true strengths.

As I grew up, my mother always taught at schools that I attended. With seeing her and her teaching ways I found out her love for Dr.Seuss and it slowly grew on me and how amazing the stories were. I found out how much meaning one story could have on life.

When I was in 5th grade, I went to a magnet school and was in Romeo and Juliet. We had to practice reading and understanding Shakespeare language.

My mother signed me up to take a reading class to help me read faster.
