To begin, I graduated with great grades from UIS University because I studied so hard. However earlier in my career, I decided not to take on a more senior role because I didn't think I had all the skills to do the job as a gerent. I didn't have any clue of how it is going to be! -

After a number of interviews that either went badly because of something I said/did, something they said, or went well but didn't result in me getting hired because I needed the experience to get experience. Everything was crazy! I got a temp job that I was overqualified for. Since then, I've had a few jobs, mostly temporary, and few related to my major in any substantial way. -

Eventually, I realized afterward that I will never have all the answers and that I can still be successful if I'm willing to learn and ask others to help. It was time to get the ball rolling! -

I received an offer for a job at a technology company that fell outside of my current skill set. I realized recently that accepting that job could have been a helpful professional development opportunity for me that might have helped me advance my career in a growing field. -

Before a couple of months I received a new job offer, the company actually held a group interview and presented a scenario with a customer. While I was there, I was exposed to many different types of people. Since I had to upsell, I quickly learned what worked and what didn't. -

At last, the hiring manager said she just really liked my personality and thought I could bring the data entry team together, and I did. In addition, I was going to start the job in Abril but had to change plans due to an operational issue. I was going to tell her but I didn’t get time. I had a feeling they were going to back out of the deal. In the end, I received some really excellent training for this job. Had I not been trained in this way, I wouldn't have survived on the job for very long.
