I got a pocket rocker for my 7th birthday, and I loved it! The one tape that I remember the most had Manic Monday on one side and Walk like an Egyptian on the other. I loved that thing!

I remember when we first got our first nintendo and we played Mario for hours! We hated that it was only 2 player because there was 3 of us and so there was a lot of fighting!

On my 9th birthday I got to upgrade to a walkman! I used to sit by the stereo with a cassette and when I would hear a song that I wanted hurry and record it, and make a playlist so I could pop it into my walkman! I went through so many batteries!!

Then I remember I got my first game boy! I loved this thing and I can still remember the music from tetris!

I had an amazing bombox that could rotate through 5 different CD's and my first CD's were Boys 2 Men, NSYNC, Ace of Base, No Doubt and Britney Spears. I was the coolest pre-teen on the block!

A few years later I went through about ten different Discman's and even though it said shock proof, they would skip like crazy!!

my first car was a 79' VW rabbit and it had a cassette player, so I got this handy guy so I could take my jams on the road!

My communication status got majorly upgraded the following year when I got my first pager! We had a code that we would use to send our friends messages. Man I miss that!

When I went to college I got my first Ipod. Napster was my best friend! I couldn't believe that I could fit my entire CD case in this little box!

When I finished my second year of college I finally got my first phone. I couldn't remember which one it was but this was my favorite phone ever. You were not cool unless you had a moto razor in hot pink!

It's crazy to look back at how far technology has come and now all of my entertainment is in this little thin machine in my hand. It holds my music, my games and my whole life.
