  • Infancy: Physical Development

I started walking when I was around 10 months old. Simple gestures performed by my mother such as holding my hand or using my walker to encourage my first steps.
  • Infancy: Cognitive Development

When I was baby, my favorite toys were my pacifier and Bart Simpson toy. My tells me about how I had to have at least those two items before bed every night. I had developed object permanence, able to be aware that my Bart Simpson toy and pacifier were not near.

    Infancy: Emotional Development

I had a secure attachment with my mother growing up. I remember my mother would take me and my brother every where that she went.
  • Early Childhood: Cognitive Development

When i was around the age of four i remember using alphabet card with pictures on them to help identify letters with pictures and assist in pronunciation of basic words. This goes along with Piaget's preoperational stage in which children use pictures and words to learn.
  • Early Childhood: Cognitive Development

Everyday after school my mom would make me sit at the table and go over my ABCs. When i got a letter or pronunciation wrong she would force me repeat it over and over. She also made me write my letters in cursive and print multiple times a day.
  • Early Childhood: Cognitive Development

As a child a found most of my interest in video games. My favorite system of choice during this time was my Game boy Color. I also enjoyed riding bikes most of the time with friends. I would say this most likely fit researchers idea of conceptualization in which we transform objects or events into social objects.
  • Early Childhood: Emotional Development

As a child my family would often describe me as timid and shy. When I was just infant most often my family would call me a cry baby or a "mama's boy".
  • Middle and Late Childhood: Cognitive Development

When I was middle school in the 6th grade we would perform science experiments in class. One day we were required to bring in an in home experiment. This related to Piaget's concrete theory in which children can form basic concepts but not form complex thoughts.
  • Middle and Late Childhood: Physical

Most of the time the activities I used gross motor skills in playing sports.
  • Middle and Late Children: Cognitive Development

When I was 13 I could tell that my body was undergoing a change in which we call puberty. My voice began to deepens and I started growing hair in places that I did not have it before.
  • Middle and Late Childhood: Physical

    Middle and Late Childhood: Physical
When I was younger I exercised pretty often. In my younger years of 5-7 I spent most of time riding bike with friends. From about 7-13 I played basketball and baseball in the local wreck league.
  • Adolescence: Cognitive

In my teenage years, i received different opinions about religion. 'i remember a story in which my friend told me found many contradictions within the bible. Which lead me to think deeper and find truths for myself.
  • Adolescence: Physical

I developed later than my peers in my opinion. Characteristics common to aging males such facial hair and deepening of the voice happened much earlier in most of my peers. No, it did not really have an affect on the way I interacted with my friends.
  • Adolescence: Emotional

Sternberg would have characterized my relationships as liking relationships. During the course of my high school career I had a couple of individuals in which I shared feelings with and close friends.
  • Early Adulthood- Cognitive

When I began making the decision on deciding which University to attend. The next thought that came to mind was what did I want my career to be. I chose UAB because this school was the best fit for my career of choice. This idea of being able to think logically and make sound decision is a principle of the formal operational theory.
  • Adolescence: Physical

I exercised regularly during my adolescence. I was very active in high school and did a variety of sports that included soccer, cross country, and baseball. I enjoyed physical activity.
  • Early Adulthood- Physical

Most of the activities i do now require the use of gross motor skills. In being able to kick a soccer ball or run around a course.
  • Early Adulthood-Emotional

My current closest relationships I have right now are with my girlfriend and mother. I would describe my close relationships right now as being linked with closeness and bonds that have been formed over time.
  • Early Adulthood: Emotional

Now, my love life most resembles that of a Romantic relationships and intimate relationships. The relationships I have now are characterized by close bonds and intimacy between loved ones.
  • Early-Adulthood

I do not exercise as regularly as I did in my middle to late childhood through adolescence. Some activities I find myself doing now are just running from time to time or playing a pick up game of soccer with friends. I still love exercise, but I just do not have the will to get up anymore.
