Birth
I was born on May 28th in 1998 in Chicago. -
Work hard
I started working this year as a waitress. Working in a banquet is very hard work, but the money is nice to see in the end. I have learned how hard you have to work without an education to get so little. Getting a job Senior year really opened my eyes to as why school is so important. -
Senior Year
I am officially a second semester senior! I am taking 8 classes and am involved in many activities. I am involved in Serbian and ASL club at school. -
Life long memories
I am finishing off my dance career this year. I have been doing Serbian folk dance for the past 11 years. Its the end, but I am going to end it in a great fashion, as we will travel to Serbia this year as a group. -
College here I come
I made it into Loyola University's straight admission Nursing program. This really was the high light to my year. I have known for a long time that I wanted to be a pediatric nurse practitioner, so this was a great head start. -
Short term goal
This year, I want to focus on myself. I want to continue getting good grades, even though I am a senior. I have also made myself a promise to lose weight and get in shape for prom and Europe. Considering others, I really want to start volunteering at a hospital within this year. The goal is to make myself a better person in all aspects. -
Long term goals
To continue my schooling, I plan to finish pediatric nursing in the next four years at Loyola University. I want to start working in a hospital in Chicago, but also persue a masters degree. I want to get my masters so that I can be a nurse practitioner. Aside from school, I want to travel as much as I can in between all the hard work. If I am putting in the hard work, I hope I can enjoy it too. -
5 years:
In five years I should be on my way to a masters degree. I will be finnished with a RN degree and working to be a practioner nurse. I plan to continue this at Loyola University. -
5 years:2
I will be working as a pediatric nurse, while I am in school. I will work in a hosptial in chicago, and I hope to be at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. With this job, I will be making about 70,000 dollars a year. -
5 Years: 3
As I have grown up in Chicago, I plan to stay here and live here as well. I have a majority of my family living here and they are the people I need around me. I am not the type of person to leave behind all of my family and friends and move far away for a long period of time. -
5 Years:4
I will be living closer to the city, as it is convinient to be close to my school and job. Although I will be spending a lot of time in the city, I would like to stay in a suburb near by to have some peace and quiet after a long day. -
5 years:5
As I will be making my own money, I plan on buying my own car. I would love to have a range rover or tesla at 23, but that is a little unrealistic with a first year of work. I will get a Jeep Wrangler or and Audi A4 -
10 Years: 1
By this point, I will be done with school for 2 years. I will be working as a pediatric nurse practitioner. With this new degree I will be making between 85,000 and 90,000 dollars a year. -
10 years:2
I still plan on living in Chicago. There is a chance that I will live in Florida for a year or two just to experience it. All though I plan to live in Chicago permantly, I plan to travel a lot. -
10 Years: 3
By this point, I would like to be in a house. I want to own a nice house in the suburbs to raise a family in. Also, I have a desire to have a house, as I have never lived in one, only a condo. -
10 years:4
I want to be married by this point and even have kids. It really is my dream to have a family. By the time I am 27, I want to have at least to kids. Along with the kids, I will definetly get a puppy or two.
