    During the 600s C.E. people in the Byzantine Empire began to use force to convert people to Christianity. This is a change because it is a new technique being used to convert people to Christianity. Peopel were attempting to unify their empire by having everyone believ in one religion.

    During the 700s people began to use icons in church, which is a violation of the Christian commandments. This angered a lot of people and caused divisions. This event is a change because people did not use icos before, and then they just started, which changed the way people felt about each other.
