The start of 8th grade/transition to high school
8th grade was a rough time for me. I got into lots of trouble at home and school. I started to hang out with some kids that were older than me. I wanted to be in a higher math class, but I didn't get a high enough score on my math test. I then started to realize...I will be in high school next year, though the kids I am hanging out with don't care, I do. I started wanting to be different. I started to take things seriously. Trying to get started with caring for school. "I want to graduate!" -

School is hard, but it is something that is required through the U.S.A. as something that I need to do to be able to live my life to the fullest of my ability! It may be the hardest thing for me, BUT I will get there if and only I stay focused on my goal!! -
The Start of my Freshman year in High School
The start of my 9th grade year was weird. I had been to a lot of different schools throughout this year too. It was hard because I had to choose between all of the right and wrong decisions and it gets way harder as you get into high school. It is just so scary knowing that you could be on track one time and then in just one assignment failure you could go down about three grades. A-F wow those grades are scary. Just knowing that your future depends on SOME of those grades. It's hard to do. -
Beging of 10th grade-sophmore
I started 10th grade this year and I am starting to work on earning the classes that I need this year. I am also seeking jobs on ihaveaplan.gov so I know what kind of schooling that I need. It may take me a while, but for my goal for school I am putting a minimum time of three years, the most will depend on my choice of career. Right now is a time to figure out my goal and what school I will need to go to for my MUST have career to be able to manage my life and possible family. -
Moving to Des Moines for schooling
I came to Des Moines for schooling and I am finally starting to get the schooling that I need. Thanks to Des Moines I am almost back on track for my credits. Although I am not getting EVERY class that I need, I will soon. I am only in 10th grade, so things will catch up soon. For me and my future life. -
Graduation "Plans", at the latest May 2015
A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that "individuality" is the key to success. ~Robert Orben Goals for me take a lot, this is the most important to me: High school graduation...I just want to be different from my parents and actually graduate. Hooray for me!! -
Choosing my Career
I'm probaly going to be on my way to college by this time and I might already even be there. Here is where my whole life is in my OWN HANDS. Now it is time for my decisions once I get here. If I find a college and a job with my needs, well it will make me proud, my family proud, my teachers proud, and some good friends proud. They will know that my goal was reached and that my life begins! Life starts at college!!
