    Islamic Empire

    This was located in the middle east, and Muhammad was the 1st leader. Their religion was Islmaic. With his followers, Muhammad took over Mecca.
    Muhammad brought religion to Islam and gained followers because of his preaching of the word of God.

    Genghis Kahn was the greatest leader of the Mongol Empire. He installed a military superstructure to include all the people of his Empire. he Mongols had Shamanism, Buddhism, Islamic, and Daoism as their religions. He conquered Northern China, then expaned his Empire west.

    Ming Empire

    The Ming Empire was in China. Zhu Yuanzhang was the 1st empire, and he concentrated on trying to prevent corruption among court officials. During this Empire's reign, the Great wall of China and the Grand Canal were restored.Taoism and Buddhism were the dominant religions, but Christianity was also spreading through China at this time.

    It was based in present-day Iran, and parts of Turkey and Georgia. Isma'il I was a key figure in this empire. T he main religion they used was Shi'a Islamic. The empire's economic strength came from its location on the trade routes.

    Ottoman Empire

    The Ottoman Empire reached its height under the rule of Suleiman the Magnificent. The empire was so sucessful because it was highly centralised, and the education was state run.
    The Empire included Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Syria, Hungary and many more. Constantinople became the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Their religions include Christian Orthodox and Muslim. They soon changed the name costantinople to another name later.

    The empire ruled most of India and Pakistan, and their major religion was Hinduism. It was one of the world's most civilized center of power at that period in time. Babur was the 1st Mughal Emperor.
  • Tang Dynasty

    The Tang Empire was located in China. The official examination system enabled eduated men without family connections to serve as government officials. Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islamic religions were embraced in the Tang Dynasty. Wu Zetian was one of the greatest emporers the Tang Dynasty had.
  • Song Empire

    The Song Empire was in China, and they have Buddhism and Taoism as their religions. The productive technology was improved; this promoted the output of food. The earliest paper currency appeared at that time of this Empire.Typography and the compass were invented during this period as well.
